Located in Philadelphia’s Chinatown, Asian Arts Initiative is a multidisciplinary arts center that uses art as a vehicle to explore the diverse experiences of all communities which include Asian Americans. AAI offers exhibitions, performances, artist residencies, youth workshops, and a community gathering space.

In collaboration with Econsult, MCS, and DIGSAU, DVDL is leading the exploration of building strategies for AAI to achieve full operating potential as a place-based community arts venue. Through cultural forecasting, reference research, stakeholder engagement, and building analysis, DVDL is providing expert advice and strategic recommendations for AAI’s building, as well as presence in their neighborhood and city.
