Superblue is a new enterprise created in response to the growing public interest in experiential art and the needs of artists working outside the realm of object-based practices. Featuring long-term installations, Superblue experiential art centers enable the simultaneous presentation of multiple large-scale and interactive works—offering visitors unparalleled opportunities to be transported to an array of new worlds.

DVDL is working with Superblue to evolve and expand their current offerings, as well as develop future potential sites in other US cities.  Through a visioning process via a series of workshops with staff and leadership, DVDL is conducting site assessments, developing an overarching program and installation framework, as well as a concept for front-of-house spaces.  DVDL is also advising on design and curatorial projects, measuring visitor experience, and conducting ongoing audience research.
